You are considering PURCHASING… ONE VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE PRE-OWNED Zeiss Ikon « Contaflex I » Synchro-Compur 35mm SLR – FILM CAMERA MADE IN STUTTGART GERMANYWith Tessar f/2.8 45mm Lens This quality camera belonged to my brother. I inherited it. We are downsizing and have to part with many of our finest « collectibles ». The photos do all the talking. Excellent VINTAGE – PREOWNED – CONTAFLEX I – SYNCHRO-COMPUR – 35mm – SLR – film CAMERA. A really nice vintage Zeiss Ikon Contaflex I – SLR – with body serial number: E28926, featuring a Carl Zeiss Tessar f/2.8, 45 mm lens, with a serial number of 1380541. The serial number dates this camera at around 1937 I believe. The aperture ranges from f/2.8 to f/22, providing a wide range of options for capturing the perfect shot. This model has the removable FLASH SHOE. It will come with its original ZEISS IKON AG (1274/24) dark brown leather camera case – as shown. Case is not torn, damaged, or been repaired. It is showing very minor/normal wear as shown. Small rubs/scuffs as can be expected in a vintage leather case. It will come with a light colored shoulder strap but I highly doubt that this is the original as it does not match the camera case. So assume the shoulder strap IS NOT a Zeiss ORIGINAL. You be the expert. This fine quality – GERMAN MADE – camera is in very good condition as the photos attest. Very clean and showing very, very little previous wear/use. A very, very nice example – SEE PHOTOS. It will come with a TIFFEN PROTAR – PLUS 3 – SERIES 5 – U.S.A. lens cover. It measures 30mm in diameter and is held in place – over the existing lens – with a black screw down ring – SEE PHOTOS. This camera has been checked and is in good working condition. Please check-out closely, the many photos that I have posted above for your own, personal evaluation. These photos are a major part of my description.
