LATTICINO MURANO HANDBLOWN ART GLASS LAMP PINK GOLD WHITE SPIRAL LATTICE 24″ VTG Up for your consideration is this Incredibly Beautiful Mid Century Murano Latticino Art Glass 24″ Table Lamp. As some of you may know the main body of this lamp is intricately and fully hand blown and it is an extremely and painstakingly delicate process. The lattice ribs are created individually and pulled into long strips of cane which are then assembled and hand blown into the shape you see. It has 2 larger bulbous area at the bottom and a doorknob shaped bulbous area at the top. The pattern consists of a spiral lattice next to a gold / copper metal flake section next to a pale pink solid stripe. The base is made from a brass toned metal with 5 balls separating the bottom base plate of the lamp from its pedestal making it appear that the glass lamp is on a brass stand. There is a contoured brass toned collar just below the socket. HOWEVER: Please take note that when turned on a light bulb does flicker meaning it will need to be re-wired. However, as mentioned when the lamp was tested is does light up but sometimes flickers and occasionally goes off so it will need to be re-wired. As pictured, the brass toned base has some surface pitting and the surface is most likely darker than it was originally. The felt on the bottom has come off as shown in the pictures but will be included. Overall this lamp is in excellent antique condition and the glass center section is extremely gorgeous with no damage whatsoever.
