Dickens Chang Original Landscape Framed Watercolor (#900-665) Click images to enlarge Description Offered is a colorful original watercolor by Chinese American artist Dickens Chang (born Zhang Jianguo). This is one of his earlier pieces (1970’s – 1980’s?) and features a mountain scene with a tree, clouds and red roofed structures. It is mounted in a fairly common brushed silver metal frame with a green matte and glass panel. Dickens Chang was born in China in 1948, raised in Taiwan and educated in California. He moved to Ventura in 1980, renovated a Victorian house on Ash Street and began making a name for himself in the Southern California art world. He designed a series of posters for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. Dimension/size – the frame measures about 20 ¼” x 10 ¼”. The art measures about 11’ x 5”. This frames piece weighs right at three pounds. Condition – the colors remain bright in this piece. It is in very good condition. The frame is in good condition but there is a small piece of glass missing in the upper left-hand corner. We will leave it to the new owner to possible reframe this piece. Please see photos.
